OK... I screwed up again and missed some more pictures. I bought about $40 worth of maple. I have enough wood to do about 6 necks... guess I'll have to build more guitars. I chose a Birdseye Maple board, and a Flame Maple board and a regular maple board. I applied my template shown in the previous pictures with double sided sticky tape and routed out 2 necks 3/4" thick. This picture shows me cutting the Fingerboards with the lumber I planed down to 1/4". I made a smart move before I was married and had kids. I purchased lots of tools thanks to my Grandpa Vern who got me into woodworking and also helped me stock my wood shop. The total of the neck thickness after glueing on the fingerboard will be 1".
