This looks easy, but this took about 5 hours for me to get the neck template I wanted. I chose a 1 and 11/16" nut and the neck pocket was 2 and 3/16". This took some time because I wanted to make sure the neck at this stage didn't fit too tight, but yet had enough room after applying finish to fit in the neck pocket snug.
