April Performances
We covered a lot of ground in April. We started out in Waukon, IA at Wild
Willy’s. From there we headed to Cedar Falls, IA to play at Coconuts. The
next night we played for the first time in Monticello, IA at the Eagles club.
Then it was back to The Dry Bean in Madison, WI which is one of our favorite
places to play, and finally we finished the month in Dubuque, IA at the
Fairgrounds. The crowds were exceptional for the month of April and we
thank all of you for coming to our shows.
Fall Bus Trip
We tried to organize a Bus Trip to the Dry Bean in Madison, WI on a Friday
night. There was a lot of interest, but because it was a Friday night, we were
not able to get enough people to make the trip affordable. We are hoping to
try this again in the Fall, but we’ll try to book a Saturday night at the Dry
Bean. We’ll keep you informed when we finalize a date.
Country USA
A lot of you have signed up at our shows for our Ticket drawing that we will
hold in Early June. Country USA is a huge event in Oshkosh, WI and we will
have several tickets in hand in Early June. We are giving away some
“Reduced Fee” tickets, or complimentary tickets. I believe the ticket is valued
at $190, and you pay a $40 gate fee for your wrist band. In addition to the
“Reduced Fee” tickets, the band is also going to pick up the Gate Fee Tab
and give away a Pair of Tickets. The only people eligible for that drawing will
be the people on our Mailing list. If someone forwarded this to you, sign up
today for our mailing list at the bottom of this letter.
Skin Gallery Tattoo Shop
The owners of the Skin Gallery Tattoo shop, Brent and Kaye, have teamed up
with The Back Home Boys and are offering some specials. Brent is an award
winning Tattoo artist from San Diego, CA who recently moved back home.
Bring in a copy of this Newsletter to the Skin Gallery Tattoo Shop in Prairie du
Chien, WI, and receive 10% off a Tattoo. He is also offering $100 Back Home

What’s Coming Up
We have lots of shows coming up in May and June. You can view the
complete schedule on our website and we’ve also attached the next 2 months
on this newsletter. We also promise to keep adding top country hits as they hit
the radio waves. Sometimes it is hard for us to find time to practice, but we
are going to try our hardest to add new music as the year progresses.
Be on the lookout for some new T-shirts this summer. We are finalizing our
designs soon and will be getting them made pretty quick.
One show that is standing out for us, is on Friday May 18th. The Back Home
Boys are part of a St. Judes fundraiser in Lodi, WI. Many bands from the
Madison area are donating there time for this special cause. We take the
stage Friday May 18th right after the rodeo (around 9pm). To learn more
