The Back Home Boys formed in 1993 as a 4 piece group. Over the years the band has grown into one of
Wisconsin and Iowa’s premier and well known Country Acts. This 6 piece group has some of the finest
musicians and best vocalists in the Midwest. The same guys you see play each night are the same ones
that set up ,tear down the equipment that they own, and then drive home to their families. They like
to interact with their fans and try not to be someone or something they aren’t.  All of the band members
are from very small towns which makes this group even more unique. A 12 pack,  shining deer on  gravel
back roads, and bullhead fishing at night was nothing out of the norm for these guys while growing up.

Although the Group is primarily a Top 40 Country Group... they can also tear it up playing some 70's and
80's Rock to accomodate all age groups and musical tastes.

The Group has won several awards over the last 20 years... but has probably had their biggest success in
2012. In the Summer of 2012, the band entered the Texaco Country Showdown and competed against
several of Cedar Rapids, IA Top Country Groups at the KISS 96.5 FM sponsored event. After winning 3
levels of the competition, the group became one of 50 finalists out of the 5,000 entrants.

Over the years, the Back Home Boys have played almost every Wisconsin Music Festival and they have
shared the stage with some pretty big names including Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, Diamond Rio, Ronnie
Milsap, Charlie Daniels, Rascal Flats, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Jake Owen, Toby Keith, Little Big Town
and Montgomery Gentry just to name a few. The group has a couple  of members that have actually
toured with National Acts, and one which actually auditioned for Country Super Group of the 90’s,
Shenendoah, when Lead Singer Marty Raybon left.

Another  of the group’s accomplishments was winning the HODAG competition in 2002 and 2006 in
Rhinelander, WI. Each year the contest started off with around 25 bands from Wisconsin and Michigan
and the Back Home Boys came in 1st place each year they competed. They held the Title “Wisconsin
Country Band of the Year” each year.

Although the group has had a couple of  friends and talented members come and go, the current line-up of
the Back Home Boys has over 80 years of  stage experience in the Back Home Boys alone!!!! The musical
experience of the group as well as the level of professionalism sets this group apart from others and the
guys are very excited about the potential of the new line-up. We would love to come play for your event or
club in 2015. See you on the road!!

Daryle Singletary and Back Home BoysConcert
We are teaming up with our good friends at Norwegian Hollow in Viroqua, WI and are very proud to be doing a show
with one of our favorite artists of the 90's... Daryle Singletary. This will be our 3rd time working with Daryle.

Daryle Singletary earned his notoriety for country authenticity with such unforgettable hits as “I Let Her Lie,” “Too
Much Fun,” “Amen Kind of Love” and “The Note.” His newest album, “There’s Still A Little Country Left” , finds the
country singer smack dab in the middle of what he loves the most, traditional Country music. On past albums, some
of the greatest talents in his industry have lined up to sing with Daryle, including the late George Jones and Johnny
Paycheck, Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, John Anderson and Rhonda Vincent. On “There’s Still A
Little Country Left”, Daryle finds harmony vocal assistance from Grand Ole Opry member Vince Gill on the poignant
and moving “Say Hello To Heaven.”
