Greg Webster-Lead Vocals and Acoustic Guitar
Personal info - Greg was born in Darlington WI on May 28th 1971. Greg's dad is a log buyer/logger so this
kept them on the move. Greg has lived in Nebraska, Iowa, and his home state of Wisconsin. He has two
daughters (Claire,Olivia), a step-son (Zach), and the most wonderful girlfriend in the world (Andrea)."I'll
pay you later Hon". Greg is very involved in all three of his children's lives. He keeps very busy going to
volleyball, basketball, and baseball games. He is also very proud that all three are also on honor role in
school.
Influences - Greg has musical influences from Bon Jovi, Merle Haggard, Mrs.Ruff his high school music
teacher, Tom Cook his high school band director, Barbara Dickey his grade school music teacher, and
many family members who he has played and sang with over the years like his uncle Charlie Webster.
But the biggest influences Greg says he has had are his Mom,Dad, George and Laura Webster. His dad
taught him how to play the guitar open style, and his mom guided him in singing harmony when Greg
was just 6yrs old. Greg spent a lot of time pickin and a grinnin with his Mom and Dad. He recalls playing
at many Old Folks homes, and to this day Greg still makes time to pluck on his guitar and sing some
good ole Johnny Cash songs for the elderly.
Hobbies - Greg's first hobby is music, but he loves the outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, horse
back riding, or just sitting outside. He also likes to dabble in woodworking.
Equipment - Greg has a 1995 acoustic Ibanez guitar that he played for many years, but has handed it
down to his oldest daughter Claire . He now uses a custom built, and painted $78.00 first act guitar
from Walmart. Andrea,Claire,Olivia, and Zach gave it to him for his 34th birthday. Greg says it doesn't
matter how much it cost's, or didn't cost, it sounds just like a million to him. Greg the guitar painted
with a picture of the Highway Men on the front. (painted by Corbin custom painting in Manchester
Iowa) "the boys know why".. hehe.
